Stomping at the Savoy

Annotation

An interesting attempt at collecting Webb's work. Probably, this kind of set is more targeted at die hard fans and completists. Note that the material presented here obviously intersects with The Chronological Classics' collection (both the Webb's and Fitzgerald's releases), the main difference in approach (compared with Classics) being that all Webb material is collected (instead of splitting out the Fitzgerald tracks). Be aware, though, that this set misses the very first pair of Webb's cuts, with his earlier formation The Jungle Band, meaning the completists can't spare acquiring the Chronological as well...
